My Yacht^TM Group debuts new Pebble Beach^® event aboard M/Y "ACANIA". Hosts special guests of Lincoln Motor Company, plus welcomes partners Monster^®, Singer Vehicle Design, Comte de Mazeray, Ghost Horse Vineyards, Patrón Spirits

Los Angeles, CA August 14th, 2013 - My Yacht^TM Group takes its exclusive superyacht events to Pebble Beach^® for the first time, hosting two cocktail receptions aboard motor yacht ACANIA on August 15th and 16th, during the Monterey motoring weekend. Nicholas Frankl of Entertainment Marketplace brokered the deals.

The events mark ACANIA's debut as a luxury hospitality yacht, following an extensive archival quality refurbishment of the 136-foot vessel. A reception on Thursday 15th August sees the yacht moored in Stillwater Cove, near The Pebble Beach^® and Tennis Club^®, where special guests of Lincoln Motor Company will come aboard for an exclusive cocktail reception.

Friday 16th sees the 1st Annual My Yacht Pebble Beach Reception, with ACANIA moored in Breakwater Cove Marina. My Yacht welcomes back Monster^® Headphones, a partner during My Yacht Monaco 2012, where custom headphones were presented to TSH Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco. The Inspiration^TM Lounge and gifting suite will allow guests aboard to experience its incredible noise cancelling Inspiration^TM headphones that feature interchangeable headbands and a tailored fit.

With the Porsche 911 celebrating its 50th year, it's fitting that Singer Vehicle Design will showcase its latest re-imagined 911 to guests at the party. The company performs both restorative & cutting-edge modifications to update the performance, aesthetics & modern day use-ability of 1990-94 996 Porsche 911s, optimizing the car's strength while preserving the essence of the original.

Guests at both receptions will enjoy Comte de Mazeray brut and rose champagne from long time partner Gold Emotion. Comte de Mazeray's 24-karat gold-flecked champagne made its USA debut at My Yacht Club in Austin during the 2012 United States Formula 1 Grand Prix^TM.

Connoisseurs of Napa Valley Cabernets, & oenophile alike, will relish the opportunity to enjoy wines from renowned wine maker Todd Anderson. In addition to pouring the world-class Conn Valley Vineyards, guests will enjoy completely hand-made 100% Cabernets from his Ghost Horse Vineyards. The winery produces extremely small lots – just over 200 cases per harvest – and each bottle features its own unique hand etched & numbered edition label, with art by equine artist Christine George.

Premium mixed libations will be courtesy of Patrón Spirits with custom cocktails created from itsPatrón tequilas, Ultimat Vodka and Pyrat Rum.

Guests at both cocktail receptions will be the very first to enjoy the ACANIA following her extensive rehabilitation. Designed by John H. Wells for Arthur E. Wheeler, a prominent Wall Street banker, and built in 1930 at the New York ship builders, Consolidated Shipbuilding Corporation, she was fitted out as a high-end luxury motor yacht representative of the golden age of the "Roaring Twenties". Her accommodations include four staterooms, a sitting room, sun decks, aformal dining room with supporting galleys, and quarters for a full crew.

The yacht is long-rumored to have been built for Al Capone. It includes a hideaway bar, a necessity for the prohibition era, plus other secret tanks, stores and records. It has belonged to the Walgreen family andwas commandeered for WWII duty by the US Navy. Mr. David Olson acquired her in 2008 and has recently completed a thorough, archival quality, 5-year restoration in Alameda, CA.
