More than $1.5 Million in Rare Cars Displayed in Front of Pop-up Club at Ballet Austin
(AUSTIN, TEXAS – October 27, 2014) My Yacht™ Group, an international global luxury events producer, announced a number of exciting new features for its Monaco nightlife experience, My Yacht Club (MYC), during the 2014 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix™ weekend. The two-night exclusive party takes place at Ballet Austin, 501 W. 3rd Street, downtown, just steps from Austin Fan Fest.
New to the event, now in its third year benefitting Ballet Austin, will be the display of five rare exotic cars provided by Motostalgia, an Austin-based collector car catalog auction company. Lined up for the viewing pleasure of club patrons and Fan Fest attendees alike (Friday night only) will be a 1991 Ferrari Testarossa (right photo), a 2005 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo, 1974 Porsche 911, 1955 Aston Martin DB2/4 (left photo), 1989 Lamborghini Countach – more than $1.5 million worth of cars which will be available during Motostalgia’s Collector Car Auction at the Long Center on Saturday, November 1st. Nicholas Frankl, CEO of Entertaiment Marketplace LLC, brokered the deal.

Embracing the Halloween weekend spirit, guests will experience an Enchanted Forest theme in the Club, created by the production designers at Ballet Austin. In addition to 24K gold-flecked champagne poured by the Golden Girls, who have become synonymous with My Yacht Club, guests can enjoy some of Texas’ finest spirits. Rebecca Creek Distillery will serve its signature whiskey and Enchanted Rock Ultra Premium Vodkas, while Pura Vida Tequila will pour its 100% Agave Azul line of tequilas, including the award-winning Silver, Añejo, and Extra Añejo.
MYC is Austin’s most sophisticated off-track evening destination, featuring reserved tables with bottle service, the Golden Girls, Hollywood celebrities, Monster® international DJ, Alex Karlsson, a glittering shot-pouring aerialist, and more. On Halloween, guests are encouraged to compete for Best Halloween costume with the winner awarded a handmade, limited edition, 24k gold leaf-wrapped 6 liter Methusalem of gold champagne valued at $20,000. Saturday night, the club revs up the glam factor with the Models’ Party. MYC operates from 10pm until 4am.
Reserved tables are available at five price levels ranging from $5,450 for the V8 table to $75,000 for the most exclusive club experience, the Methusalem V16 Ultimate Table. This red carpet package includes four gold-wrapped commemorative Methusalems, 10 Golden Girls, dedicated waitresses, two security guards and up to 20 guests on a private stage overlooking the dance floor. There are also individual VIP tickets for $325, and VIP Ladies-Only passes at $75 for entry before 11pm.
