My Yacht® St. Bart’s to Debut Aboard M/Y “Excellence V” with Bvlgari, SiBarth, Perrier-Jouët, Chateau d’Esclans, IYC, Celebrates Gustavia Yacht Club Launch
Gustavia, December 14, 2016 – My Yacht® Group (MYG) will debut a new event on the island of St. Bart’s aboard the magnificent M/Y Excellence V with an onboard showcase from new partner Bvlgari. The elegant reception, set to become an annual fixture on the MYG calendar, celebrates the official opening, and first ‘AGM’, of the “world’s most exclusive yacht club”, the non-profit Gustavia Yacht Club (GYC), with Benefactor and Founder members from Europe, the U.S.A., and beyond, flying in for the occasion.

The Bvlgari Lounge will feature displays of timepieces and high jewelry including the Serpenti necklace in white and yellow gold with 55 marquise brilliant cut diamonds (11.23 ct), 71 round and pear shaped rubies (2.65 ct) and pavé diamonds (8.94 ct).
New partner, and first sponsor of GYC, SiBarth, is the only luxury villa rental company to call St. Bart’s home. Since 1975 it has proudly promoted the island, while helping to preserve its heritage, providing a tailor-made experience for all guests and owners, and offering a wide range of beautiful villas and bespoke island services.
Guests will enjoy brut and rosé champagnes from Perrier-Jouët, Chateau d’Esclans’ ever-popular Whispering Angel, plus fine foods, including caviar, and canapés from local Gustavia hotspot 25 Quarter.
Available for charter through IYC, Excellence V has the volume and interior comfort of a 75m yacht in 60m of intimate perfection and still fits into smaller preferred marinas such as St.Bart’s, where it has quickly attained an iconic status synonymous with Gustavia during high season.
Sleeping 12 guests in 7 staterooms, the expansive master suite encompasses the entire forward area of the upper deck with 180-degree panoramic views, large skylight, and private Owner’s walk around terrace with Jacuzzi.
Amenities include a gym, cinema, beach club, elevator, plus expansive lounges, formal dining room, second large sundeck Jacuzzi, and a professional crew of 14 led by veteran Captain Ray Shore.
The charity reception will benefit one of MYG’s chosen charitable partners, Blue Angels Foundation, that supports wounded veterans from any service and any conflict, working with a wholly volunteer Board comprised of former Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron.
