San Francisco Fleet Week Debut Reception with Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors AG Aboard Presidential Yacht USS Potomac
San Francisco October 10, 2016 – My Yacht™ Group debuted a new event during San Francisco Fleet Week, the nation’s largest and most significant celebration of America’s Sea Services, with an exclusive evening reception aboard Presidential Yacht, USS Potomac, Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s 165-foot “Floating White House”.
With celebratory fireworks illuminating the city and setting the tone, the evening reception saw international and Bay area HNW guests of My Yacht and lead partner Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors AG cruising San Francisco Bay aboard the historic vessel that afforded spectacular views of the city, Bay Bridge, Alcatraz, and Golden Gate Bridge.

With two former Blue Angels pilots on board, plus several docents, the evening proved both entertaining and educational as guests toured the austere yacht including FDR’s private quarters, plus guest rooms where HM King George VI and Queen Elizabeth rested during a 1939 visit.
Fine foods were complimented by Perrier Jouët Belle Epoque champagne, Conn Valley Vineyards Right Bank & Sauvignon Blanc, Rebecca Creek Whiskey and Enchanted Rock Premium and Peach Vodkas, while The Justin Rock Band played a smooth selection of jazz and standards on the top deck.
