LA Premiere Aboard M/Y Leight Star with Vontobel, Karma Automotive, AXR Winery, Perrier-Jouët, Rebecca Creek Distillery, Benefiting Blue Angels Foundation

Los Angeles, October 17, 2017 – My Yacht® Group brought its unique superyacht hospitality to the City of Angels for the first time with a sunset charity reception benefitting the Blue Angels Foundation aboard the recently refitted 150-foot M/Y Leight Star, in partnership with longtime collaborator Vontobel Swiss Wealth Advisors AG, plus new partner Karma Automotive.

This marks the Southern California debut for My Yacht®, following several years of successful events in Central and Northern California, notably at Pebble Beach and during San Francisco Fleet Week, plus on the East Coast at Art Basel Miami Beach and, of course, globally. Nicholas Frankl, CEO and Founder of Entertainment Marketplace LLC, brokered all the deals.

Two stunning Karma Revero greeted guests upon arrival to the park setting, with Leight Star – that’s available for charter on the USA West Coast and Mexico - providing an impressive backdrop to the luxury performance hybrid that’s built right in Southern California. The opportunity to sign up for test drives proved popular with guests, while a silent auction of a Karma Revero weekend experience saw some fierce bidding!

100% of proceeds from the silent auction – that also included three art works donated by White Cross Art Ltd. – along with significant on board pledges will benefit The Blue Angels Foundation.

In addition to hosting West Coast clients and board executives from Vontobel, the event welcomed significant automotive and art collectors, Olympic athletes, F1 drivers, property magnates, private jet and superyacht owners and users, and the cream of LA society.

Fine foods were complimented by Perrier Jouët Grand Brut champagne, AXR 2013 Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, plus the AXR 2015 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, in addition to Rebecca Creek Whiskey and Enchanted Rock Premium and Peach Vodkas, plus “Revero” specialty cocktails.
