Entertainment Marketplace And Bombardier Speed Queen Latifah Across Atlantic To Host 47th Annual Grammy® Awards

Los Angeles, Feb. 11, 2005 – Grammy-award winning musician and actress, Queen Latifah, was whisked to Los Angeles today on the Bombardier Transatlantic Express, the world’s fastest ocean-spanning jet service since the Concorde. This Bombardier promotional flight opportunity was conceived and developed by Los Angeles-based Entertainment MarketPlace, who represents the aerospace company in entertainment. Queen Latifah arrived from Prague, where she is currently filming a new movie, after a restful 12-hour and 40-minute overnight flight in the luxuriously appointed Bombardier Global Express aircraft. Queen Latifah will both host and perform at the 47th Grammy Awards this Sunday. She is also nominated for the Best Jazz Vocal Album, making her the first entertainer to receive this threefold honor since John Denver in 1979.

Entertainment MarketPlace worked with Grammy producers AEG Live, Queen Latifah’s management and client Bombardier to create a travel and publicity solution which included a return flight from Prague to Los Angeles and secured TV exposure through host broadcaster CBS and Entertainment Tonight, whose news crews met the flight upon arrival.
